Good afternoon, parents! The magical Living Museum for Destination D.C. is quickly approaching - Friday,May 3, 2019. We realize many of you will be making plans to attend and hear your child present their speech and perhaps even stick around a bit to experience this year's special additions, including virtual reality stations, online student-created books, hand-made artifacts, and special presentations for math and science. To help you plan your visit in advance, below is a schedule of the time-blocks for speech presentations. You can expect your child to present during the below time-block but not necessarily in this order.
Example Times 2018 Living Museum:
Your child will need to remain at school all day, despite their assigned presentation time, as they will be participating in other ways throughout the day. Each student will be given one off period as well. They will spend this time in our assigned break room, which brings me to SNACKS! Please look for a snack sign-up sheet to be delivered in your email. We will need a variety of snacks to stock the break room for the kiddos. They will also need to bring $5 in the near future to cover their pizza lunch. Sack lunches are also acceptable. Please do not hesitate to email or call us with any questions you may have. We can't wait to share in this exciting experience!
